In the world of golf, every detail matters. From your stance to your backswing, each drive requires body and mind alignment. Lifelong golfer Zach Cutler, DC (’21) understands this better than most. Growing up in St. Louis, Dr. Cutler golfed on Timberland High School’s state championship-winning team before playing Division I collegiate golf at Valparaiso University (Valpo) in Indiana. “My freshman year I won a college golf tournament and even got to play in the 2016 United States Amateur Championship,” Dr. Cutler said. “Our Valpo team was also the Division I academic champions in 2016; we had the highest GPAs …

Emily Hoffman knew from an early age she wanted to be a doctor. “When I was 4 years old, I lost my dad due to a ruptured aneurysm. After months of searching for an undergraduate degree in biology that was not overly broad, she found Logan’s Bachelor of Science in Human Biology program. The class offerings were a perfect fit, offered online for maximum flexibility, and was specific to human biology. “While the program …

Logan Alumni Competing with USA Bobsled Team

When Logan Radik, MS-SC (’23) was growing up in Nebraska, bobsledding was not a sport he thought he would be involved in one day. “I grew up wrestling, so bobsledding was not on the horizon until much later,” he said. Logan came to Maryville University in St. Louis to wrestle and earn his bachelor’s degree in psychology. His senior year was during the pandemic, which caused wrestling to slow down. That is when he saw an ad for a bobsled combine and decided to look into it. “Many bobsled athletes are retired college athletes, and I felt like I could …

Shortly after graduation in May 2020, Dr. Carlson began his time at Logan in June of that year. “It was a quick transition, but I was committed to getting my degree and starting the next …
